The Core Committee Meeting of the National TB Elimination Programme Unit at SUT Academy of Medical Sciences (SUTAMS) was held on 2nd July 2026. The meeting focused on reviewing the ongoing implementation of the National TB Elimination Programme, strengthening institutional strategies, and enhancing coordination to support India's goal of eliminating tuberculosis.
  
The meeting was attended by Dr. Dhanuja, District TB Officer, who shared valuable insights on the latest programme updates, district-level initiatives, and best practices for effective tuberculosis prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up.
  
Faculty members and committee representatives actively participated in the deliberations, reaffirming SUTAMS' commitment to contributing towards the national mission of tuberculosis elimination through quality patient care, awareness, early detection, and continued public health initiatives.
