Theme: “Eat Smart Right from Start”
Students performed skit, presented posters based on the theme.
Talks were given by faculties, Prof. Dr. Roy.A.S, Dr.Maya Menon, Dr.Roshan and Dr.Jothis which highlighted the importance of starting complementary feeding for babies at 6 months of age with diverse food items which can prevent various micronutrient deficiencies and ensure normal growth.

Every year on September 2, the World Coconut Day is celebrated. The day is especially observed in Asian and Pacific nations, which are home to most of the world’s coconut producing areas and production centers.

SUT Academy of Medical Sciences observes ‘International Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearances 2021’ on 30th August 2021 marking this special day of importance.
On August 30 of each year, this day is created to draw attention to the fate of individuals imprisoned at places and under poor conditions unknown to their relatives and/or legal representatives. The impulse for the day came from the Latin American Federation of Associations for Relatives of Detained-Disappeared (or FEDEFAM), a non-governmental organization founded in 1981 in Costa Rica as an association of local and regional groups actively working against secret imprisonment, forced disappearances and abduction in a number of Latin-American countries.

Onam 2021 is being marked under the shadow of all the unforeseen developments due to pandemic. Despite all the restrictions, SUTAMS observed Onam 2021 as a low key event with all protocols and social responsibilities followed.
In contrast to mega college wide celebrations being observed every year, this time around, Each department individually contributed to the festivity and had a transformed celebrations in close confinement, wanting to score over the other by expressing unmatchable colour and culture
Still, the energy, celebrations and hope for better future were inevitable within every SUTAM’s Family member and herewith again, we wish you all, a wonderful and prosperous Onam 2021.

1. CADUCUES 2021 is an All Kerala Inter Medicos Quiz open to any UG or PG student of MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS and all kind of Paramedical and Nursing students in Kerala.
(Not for students outside Kerala )
2. *The medium of the Quiz will be Malayalam*
3. There should be two members in a team and both the members should register using the link given below. (Lone wolves and cross teams are allowed )
4. Quiz consisting of 10 questions will appear on Saturday 14 August 2021 at 7. 30pm on Q Positive You Tube channel.
5. To complete the registration and participate in the Quiz, both the participants should comment their name and college name separately below the video.
*6. Duration of the Quiz is 1 hour. Answers should be sent in a single message along with the team members’ name &college and should be submitted before 8.30 pm.*
7. *One team should sent only one message. Multiple attempts/messages will lead to disqualification.*
8. You should send the answers ONLY to the number given in the video and no where else.
