National Science Day – 2023
National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928. For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
International Mother Language Day – 2023
International Mother Language Day is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism. First announced by UNESCO on 17 November 1999, it was formally recognized by the United Nations General Assembly with the adoption of UN resolution.

In view of the World Cancer Day, Dept. of Paediatrics organized Cancer Awareness Program at SUTAMS on 4th February 2023. A talk was done by Dr Anjitha Lakshmi, session was chaired by Dr Roy Shankar and coordinated by Dr Karthika Gopan. it was attended by house surgeons and final year MBBS students.
