Dr Ashwini B from the Department of Dermatology, SUTAMS attended the National Conference MULLER DERMA as faculty held at Mangalore on 1st and 2nd April 2023 and delivered a talk titled Caterpillar Rash Sine caterpillar which emphasized on contact dermatitis to caterpillar hairs.The talk was acknowledged and well received.

B.R. Ambedkar Remembrance Day – 2023
Event: Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is observed on 14 April to commemorate the memory of B. R. Ambedkar, Indian politician and social reformer. It marks Ambedkar’s birthday who was born on 14 April 1891. His birthday is also referred to as ‘Equality Day’ by some in India.

Prevention of Blindness Week will be observed from 1st of April to 7th of April. The day will be observed by spreading awareness on the precautions which needs to be taken to prevent blindness. It will also focus on detection, cure and treatment of eye diseases.
