Department of sutams grandly Celebrated College Day Function on 07 June 2023.
 

26th June – International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking: The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is a United Nations International Day against drug abuse and the illegal drug trade. It is observed annually on 26 June, since 1989.
 

23rd June – International Olympic Day: Every year International Olympic Day is observed on June 23. The day is celebrated for sports and health, where people associated with sports come together to promote and practice mass sports. It also provides support for a wide range of sports, cultural and educational activities that allow people to show their talent. The day brings people together for a better world ahead.
 

21st June – International Yoga Day : The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India.
 
SUT AMS celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21 st June 2023 Mr. Subhash.K. Nair (Yoga Trainer) conducted the training programme and a talk on Importance of in daily life. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K.Salil Kumar, Principal, SUTAMS
The students actively participated in the one-hour demonstration yoga programme.

15th June – World Elder Abuse Awareness Day : World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) was launched on June 15, 2006 by the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and the World Health Organization at the United Nations.
 

14th June – World Blood Donor Day : World Blood Donor Day is held on June 14 each year. The event was organised for the first time in 2004, by four core international organizations: the World Health Organization.
 

8th June – World Brain Tumour Day : Every year 8th of June is celebrated as World Brain Tumor Day. This initiative was initially taken by German Brain Tumor Association and is now celebrated worldwide to raise awareness and educate people about the brain tumor.
 

The students and faculty of SUTAMS celebrated World Environment Day, 2023, annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. It is supported by many non-governmental organizations, businesses, government entities, and represents the primary United Nations outreach day supporting the environment & by planting saplings of fruit bearing and shady trees all over the SUTAMS campus. A cleaning drive was also announced which will culminate in a model making contest, made entirely of recyclable wastes.
The celebrations were inaugrated by our Principal, Dr. Salil Kumar and had the esteemed presence of Dr. Sarada Devi (HOD Microbiology), Dr Leela (HOD Community Medicine), Dr Leena (HOD, Physiology) and Dr Gautham ( Assosciate Professor, Forensic Medicine). All the esteemed guests marked their participation by planting a sapling each.

World Hypertension Day is a day designated and initiated by The World Hypertension League, which is itself an umbrella to organizations of 85 national hypertension societies and leagues. The day was initiated to increase the awareness of hypertension.
