October 2nd is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanthi day. This year marks his 155th birth anniversary. On this day, the nation honors his significant contributions to the struggle for independence and his philosophies on life.In 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared October 2 as the International Day of Non-Violence in honor of Gandhi’s principles. Upholding the values he imparted and respecting his vision, the smart students of SUTAMS took up his advises by initiating a clean up drive under the banner of NSS unit of SUTAMS in this auspicious day.

SUT Academy Of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum celebrated the Onam festival of the Academy staff on 9th September 2024 with flower carpet and Onam Lunch.
The function was inaugurated by Principal, CAO and CVO by lightning the traditional lamp.
The function is followed by Onam Vegetarian traditional lunch to all.
An unforgettable moment and a happy occasion for all the staff displaying togetherness, celebration, and integrity.

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is observed on 10 September every year to raise awareness to prevent cases of suicide. This day is organised by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP). And this day is co-sponsored by WHO.

World Physical Therapy Day is observed on 8 September every year to provide an opportunity for physical therapists from all over the world to raise awareness about the important contribution of the profession in improving the well-being and health of people.
 

Teachers’ Day in India is celebrated on 5 September every year to mark the birth anniversary of India’s second President Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. On this day we appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of teachers in making responsible individuals.
