Program Highlights:

The event began with a prayer song and a ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Mirza, alongside esteemed faculty including Dr. Ambili Ramesh (Principal), Dr. Jayalakshmi (HOD Ophthalmology), Dr. Roy (HOD Pediatrics), and other dignitaries.
Dr. Mirza’s Lecture: A detailed session exploring the adverse effects of childhood experiences on brain development, the neurobiological basis of psychiatric disorders, and insights from his imaging research. The session also focused on prevention and management strategies, followed by a highly engaging interactive Q&A session.
Honoring Dr. Mirza: He was presented with a memento and certificate by Dr. Ambili Ramesh and Dr. Jayalakshmi, respectively.
Prize Distribution: Winners of the KUHS cultural event, organized by the Student’s Union, were awarded medals by Dr. Mirza.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Anupama Prakash (SR, Department of Psychiatry) and the National Anthem.
