On 31st of July, 2025, the department of Respiratory Medicine conducted a Continued Medical Education (CME) program on Pulmonology. The event took place in the Lecture Hall from 9:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M and was attended by over 300 doctors and other healthcare professionals, reflecting strong interest and engagement within the medical community.
  
The CME commenced with an insightful session on Sleep Disordered Breathing, delivered by Dr. P. Arjun, Senior Consultant & Group Coordinator, KIMS Health, Thiruvananthapuram.
  
Following this, Dr. Sanjeev Nair, Professor, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, delivered a compelling talk about Recent Advances in the Diagnosis and Management of Tuberculosis, which was well-received by the audience.
  
The final session was presented by Dr. Anitha Kumari K., Professor and Head, Department of Emergency Medicine, SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, who shared her expert insights on the Approach to a Patient with Suspected Interstitial Lung Disease.
  
The CME was a resounding success, offering updated knowledge and valuable perspectives in the field of Respiratory Medicine.
